Foam rolling is great for our bodies in many ways. One of which is it’s ability to help improve and correct our posture. Through various positions, movements & rolling techniques we are able to increase our range of mobility and flexibility. This helps joints and muscle groups to open up & relax which helps re-aline our natural postural position.

One of the other main usages of a foam roller and trigger point ball is for MyoFascial tension release. By using the same positions, movements & rolling techniques we use for posture correction, we are able to relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.

Here is a little info about the differences between using the trigger point ball and a foam roller. As opposed to the foam roller which hits more of a broad area for myofascial release. Muscle groups can tend to hold tension in a different area of the body to were the release point is, this is what we call referred pain. This is were the trigger point ball is most beneficial as it allows you to work through the muscle group more specifically to release tension by releasing the trigger point to relieve pain that is referring to another area of the body.

I myself generally feel a lot more positivity and productive throughout my week by relieving tension and being pain free. With only 10 minutes a day on a foam roller & trigger point ball, you are able to change your overall general healthy and wellness, to create a healthier, happier lifestyle and have the same positive and productive lifestyle I have.
